Legal

Privacy and terms.

Grove's coach app and client app each have their own privacy policy and terms of service. Pick the one that applies to you, or read what this website itself collects.

For coaches

If you use Grove as a coach via portal.grove.coach:

For clients

If you use Grove as a client via app.grove.coach or the Grove Coach iPhone app (the same policy covers both):

This website

Separate from the apps above, grove.coach itself uses three services to understand how the site is used and to measure our advertising. Here is each one and what it receives:

What the Meta Pixel collects on its own

Two of the pixel's behaviors are worth spelling out, because you could not learn them from watching the page.

When you submit a form on this site that includes your email or first name, the pixel sends those fields to Meta as SHA-256 hashes. A hash obscures the text itself, but it is not anonymity: Meta can recognize the hash of an email address it already knows, and that matching is the point. It is how a signup here gets credited to the ad that produced it, which is what tells us whether an ad was worth running.

The pixel also records clicks automatically. Each click sends the button's text, its HTML id and CSS classes, the link it points to, and the page title. On this site those are all public marketing copy, but you should know the collection happens.

What never reaches any of these

Nothing from inside Grove. No client data, no session content, no check-ins, and no health information reaches Google, Customer.io, or Meta. These services run only on this marketing site: the coach portal and the client app carry no pixel and no advertising tracking of any kind.

Your choice

In regions that require consent, none of these load until you decide, and site analytics and advertising are separate choices. Rejecting keeps the whole site working, with nothing held back. You can change your mind at any time with theCookie settings link in the footer of every page.

One detail worth naming: if you reject, Google Tag Manager itself still loads, but it is told consent was denied, sets no analytics or advertising cookies, and sends Google only cookieless signals used for aggregate modeling. Customer.io and the Meta Pixel do not load at all.
